Patient Care

The Hematology-Oncology Division at ZSFG provides both inpatient and outpatient specialty care to a racially and ethnically diverse patient population.

The outpatient clinics are held 6 half-days per week and are staffed by a multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural team that includes practitioners (faculty, clinical fellows, and nurse practitioners), nurses, social workers, phlebotomist, medical assistant, clinical pharmacist, receptionist and eligibility staff.  Outpatient chemotherapy is administered in the former main hospital seven days a week.
